The MKII was the first production model in the world to be produced with four disc brakes as standard, and for this reason bears the sign "Disc Brakes" on the rear bumper. Spacious, fast and elegant, it was a great triumph for Jaguar.
Jaguar later launched a more modern version of this model in the year 2000, the Jaguar S-Type, which was also highly successful.
