The Buick Super is a spectacular car in both appearance and size. Produced by General Motors from 1940 to the end of 1958, it is capable of considerable speed, reaching more than 140 kph. A peculiar feature of this car is that it was designed to have two windscreens, which form an attractive curve. Although the engine is in the front, it is a rear traction vehicle, and the petrol tank has a capacity of 82 litres.
The Super is a wonderful example of fifties style and appearance.
The name Super given to this Buick model has been revived and reused for special versions of other models such as the Lacrosse and the Lucerna.
Our vehicle was used as a luxury taxi in the fifties.
