The Checker is designed to withstand the harsh full service undergoing taxis in city traffic. History
When we speak of Checker Taxi, we are certainly better known in front of the taxi in the United States. It was the only car produced specifically as a taxi in the United States, from the design of a rural, four-door pickup for six passengers.
Contrary to other companies (Ford, Chevrolet, Plymouth and Studebaker), which have adapted their sedans to transform them into taxis, Checker has been converted into a private car for passengers.
